Features of the Spitale (hospital) module
CNAS and DRG reporting, health-card validation
Status: Partially implemented
Reporting brings together discharged cases with DRG coding, pre-validation of cases at risk of non-confirmation, national DRG indicators with SMDPC export and SIUI XML export, plus the monthly CAS settlement and settlement invoice. Discharge on a ward that reports to the Health Insurance House is held until the gaps found by pre-validation are fixed. The health card is validated at admission and discharge, online or with an exception code.
Who uses it
What is missing today
- The PIAS/SIUI connection has been exercised on the CNAS test environment, not on a hospital's real contract; actual report submission is verified in the pilot.
- The settlement invoice is generated in the platform but not transmitted from the module to SIUI.
- XML/ZIP export works independently of the connection.
