Clinical mode: My day, My ward, Ward round

A large-target interface designed for tablets: My day shows the physician's patients, planned discharges, arrivals from the ED and the day's appointments; My ward is the vital-signs round for the ward; Ward round is the bedside screen. The clinical assistant turns a typed or dictated command into a proposal (appointment, lab request, prescription) that the physician confirms; the assistant executes nothing on its own.
