Features of the Spitale (hospital) module
Outpatient care, prescriptions, referrals and sick leave
Status: Partially implemented
The outpatient diary rejects overlapping appointments for the same physician and receives requests from the patient portal. Walk-in consultations are supported. The application issues prescriptions (including compensated and free ones, with CNAS classification), referral slips, medical letters and sick-leave certificates, and prescription lines that need Health Insurance House approval have their own register.

What is missing today
- The sick-leave certificate is issued and printed in the application but is not transmitted to CNAS.
- Online transmission of compensated prescriptions (SIPE) needs the institution's CNAS connection; it has only been exercised on the CNAS test environment.
